It Snowed!

Big Bird Sighting

Yay, we finally had our first snow fall! Since we now live on the benches we get a little bit more snow than in the Valley. I'm not sure how much but we did get a few inches last night. This is Elise's first experience in the snow, (since last year she was only a few months old I did't really want her rolling around in the snow.) She enjoyed it, but the reflection of the sun off the snow is blinding! Other than that she loved it and I had to fight her to come back in the house.

Thanksgiving

Well Thanksgiving wasn't anything spectacular. In the morning we went to the Chapman's for breakfast (we used to have a tradition to sleepover thanksgiving eve with all my siblings @ the Chapman's, but since half my siblings moved out of state we just come for breakfast now.) Brian played in the Turkey bowl at his parents ward. He's still soar, I guess he's getting old! Anyways that was fun. Then we went to Ron & Jannae's for the big feast. After that we just went home and chilled for the rest of the night. Not too exciting but it was nice to be with family. I guess since Jessica challenged everyone to post what they are thankful for I will try and do the same.

I am thankful for the gospel, for this wonderful church I am very proud to be a part of. For my wonderful husband that works so hard for our family, so I can stay home with our little girl. I love Elise and Brian very much they really make my life complete. I love all my brothers and sister-in-laws, I couldn't ask for a better family. I also love my in-laws, they love and support our family too, and it's great to have them as an extension of my family. Last but not least I love Jesus Christ, for his sacrifice and love he has for me.

I love you all, and happy holidays!

Sick Days

Poor Elise (and mom) have been sick this week. So we've just been cuddling on the couch, wrapping up in blankets, and enjoying warm bubble baths with menthol. Were on the road to recovery, just thought I'd share some pictures of Elise, she's still cute even when she's sick!

I'm it!

A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.

B. Each player answers the questions about themselves.

C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

5 THINGS I WAS DOING 10 YEARS AGO:
1. Dancing my heart out
2. Just had school to worry about

Happy Halloween!

"The over 50 Mickey Mouse club members"
Well Halloween was quite the day for us. Elise and I had 5 stops we had to make before 3:00! We visited Grandpa Mike @ work, Grandma Launa @ work, Uncle J's work, Grandpa Tom's work, then last but not least Brian's work. Brian and Elise got to go to Park City's main street where they did trick or treating. (I had to go to the chiropractor, because I have a stupid back!) Elise got a ton of candy, she was so excited to get all this candy. (because I rarely let her have any) So by the end of the night she was on quite the sugar high! I was fun to see Elise start to get the concept of trick or treating. She caught on pretty fast. Enjoy some of the pictures we got from the day.
