What would you do?

Ok so we've been house hunting for over a month and a half now. Put offers on 5 homes and been under contract once and then backed out since there was oober amounts of mold under the kitchen sink. So we've been waiting to hear on 2 homes if our offer has been accepted. Now they both have similar layouts but one has very nice finishes with an awesome master bath, but the yard and the basement are not finished. The other house has "normal" finishes but 1/2 the basement is finished and the yard is fully landscaped. Were getting to the point that we don't know what to do if both our offers are accepted. So for grins and giggles I was just wondering what you would pick? I'm mainly doing this to keep me from going totally crazy waiting to hear from the bank. So just humor me for the time being. :)

Do they look alike?

So here are my girls at 6 months. What do you think?

Happy 6 Monthday!

My Melody turned 6 months! She is progressing so well, I'm so proud of my baby. She can sit up, hold her own bottle, grab anything in front of her, and responds to any happy face! The doctor was so impressed with her smiling face and her big blue eyes.
So here's the stats:
Height: 27 inches (90%)
Weight: 15.8 lbs. (50%)
Head: 16.4 inches (50%)
She still won't roll over, and has only scooted once. So no signs of being mobile, I have no problem with that!
But everything else looks great!
Yay Melody!

Silly

Here is Elise trying to get in our hiking backpack, & getting mad at me that I'm taking a picture of her instead of helping her. I know I'm such a good mom. :)
Such a beautiful sight! Elise didn't hold her bottle until she was about a year old, so we are so excited Melody is doing this at 6 months!

Just enjoy the sweetness of 2 sisters who love each other so much!

Cute cute cousins!

So while Jen and Jason were here we decided to get pictures of all the grand kids together. I also decided to go ahead and do Melody's 6 month pictures while we were there, she's not quiet 6 months but we'll just round up. :) I was really happy with the results. Especially compared to the last time we tried to get professional pictures that was a disaster! So enjoy my cute girls and my one and only nephew!

P.S. Nothing is wrong with Elise's forehead, I had to scan these pictures in and we don't have the highest quality scanner. In case you were wondering. :)

Congrats Jason, Jen & Gavin!

Yesterday Brian and I were able to share in such an amazing experience. Brian's brother Jason, his wife Jen and their little son Gavin were able to be sealed for eternity. I've never been to a sealing with children involved, they do bring such a sweet spirit to the room. Gavin was such a good boy for the sealing and the blessing, which was later that night. I can't even express how incredibly happy I am for them, to finally start their family. It is so sweet to watch them with their little boy. Jason and Jen adopted Gavin from birth but it was finally "official" this last Monday. It has been very educational to watch from the sidelines and learn more about adoption. It really takes such a special person to understand and love this child so much to "give it up" to a couple who could really love and give this child more. I'm also happy Melody has a cousin around the same age (they are about 3 weeks apart) They were very sweet to listen to them coo back and forth to each other. Congrats Jason, Jen and Gavin! Thanks for letting us be apart of your special day.
