Mormon Blogs....

So I read this online article here. It's long but interesting. I did think it was interesting that other people think we live a perfect life making cupcakes and crafts, staying home with our wonderful children. What I guess we need to make more clear is our lives and children are a far cry from perfect, and at least for me getting to stay home is a sacrifice. If I worked full time we could have twice the home we have, fancy cars, and the best clothes. If you get a chance read it and tell me what you think. :)

Ta da!

And here you go! My before and after! Here's my ugly yellow teeth.

And my beautiful white teeth! Can you tell which ones were crowned? You can't? Good, that's the point!
Kudos to my big brother, Dr. Matthew Chapman. He's very good at what he does, and he gave us an awesome deal. All we had to do was go to Denver :) And a big thanks to Cami for picking me up from the airport and entertaining me for a day, she's so great! :)
But on a serious note, I've always hated my discolored teeth. I've been counting down the days until Matt graduated so he could fix my teeth. Especially since I have a huge smile (I don't know why I smile so huge, it's just how I am) I've always known that's what people see first when I smile, and I've HATED it. So grateful to finally have teeth that match, and now I can smile my huge smile with pride.

Snails, Nails and Puppy Dog Tails!

The Chapman Streak is over, were having a boy! Still trying to take it all in. We brought Elise and Melody to the ultra sound to help them feel involved and some what understand what was going on. Plus Elise kept insisting it was a girl so if she didn't like the fact it was a boy she could yell at the tech. :) After we found out it was a boy Elise asked if we could change it, then she said that the next baby would be a girl. Sorry sweetheart but lets just focus on this baby right now. :) Were super excited to get a boy. But I will admit I'm scared that I'm going to get peed on. :)
The name were going with, and Elise likes is Ray. His full name will be
Raymond Brian Wells
Raymond is a family name. It's my Grandpa Holloway's name, all though I never got the chance to meet him. He raised my mom all by himself and was a great man. Plus It's also my Dad's middle name. 2 great men. Elise likes Ray because it's from Princess and the Frog. And Brian deserves to be named after his first son, he's been through enough girly ness. :)

His junk.

Creepy Alien face and his cute profile.

On a serious note. I have placenta Previa AGAIN. This time instead of being close to the cervix it's right next to the cervix almost on top. Great! (Sense my sarcasm?) So we'll have to do more ultra sounds as we get closer and possibly do a c-section. We'll just have to wait and see...

7 Years baby!

So this is a few days late but at least I'm doing it! Sunday was our 7th Anniversary. What did we do? Drove home from Denver! I know were party animals! :) We were originally thinking we would come home Thursday, but there was a huge storm hitting Denver that day. So we thought we'll post pone until Friday, but then remembered Matt and Daniel had that day off. So we thought we'd stay until Saturday. But Brian wanted to watch the bowl games. So Sunday, our anniversary, was the day to go home! We were very grateful Matt and Cami were so willing to let us double our stay. So we celebrated on Monday the 3rd. We took the girls to the Dinosaur Museum, with our awesome Thanksgiving Point Pass. Then dropped them off with Grandma Nina. Got massages then went to Cheesecake Factory. It was fun and perfect!

So what have we done/accomplished in the last 7 years?

-Married in the Temple.

-I finished my associates.

-Brian finished his bachelors.

-Elise was born.

-Brian went back to school for his masters.

-Took Elise to Disneyland for the first time.

-Melody was born.

-Brian got an awesome job at Omniture (Now Adobe) which helped us qualify for a house.

-Search and search and finally found and bought our awesome house.

-Brian graduated.

-Took Melody to Disneyland for the first time, and the whole Wells family :)

-Put in our yard and fence.

-Expecting baby #3, we find out next Tuesday what were having! :)

-Pretty much just ROCKED the last 7 years!

Maybe to some of you our lives seem dull and boring, but were pretty darn proud of what we've accomplished! Has this road been a breeze? Absolutely not! Would I change a thing? Absolutely not! Were very happy with where we are, we still have a few rough edges to work out but who doesn't!? Right now were living our dream. I've always wanted to stay home and raise my kids. Brian loves his job at Adobe and is very humble and grateful he provides enough so I don't have to work. We have 2 1/2 healthy and wonderful kids. Were very involved with our callings and are grateful we can give back to such a great ward and neighborhood. Sometimes I feel like our "bubble" of a life is so full of love and great things I'm afraid it's going to pop any second. But I know I shouldn't think that way and I should sit back and enjoy it. I'm so humbled and grateful for all the Lord has helped us accomplish and flat out given to us!

Love you Moose, thanks for being the man you are. 7 years seem like a long time but yet it feels like we've been married forever. (In a good way :)

Love,

Your Moose :)

We love Family who has connections:)

The main reason we went to Denver (this time) was to have Dr. Matt Chapman crown our ugly yellow front teeth. Brian and I have had root canals on the same tooth, plus I had the one next to it. We've been waiting for Matt to graduate from Dental school so he could crown them and give us a deal ;) Mine still aren't complete, I have to go back in a few weeks to get my permanent teeth.
Here's Brian's before (not a very good pic but you can see the dark tooth)

During,
Matt has never seen a tooth so dark. As he drilled the tooth away it just flaked away. So it was pretty close to just breaking off. He had to go higher than he normally does since his tooth was so dead.

And AFTER! It looks so good!
Thanks a million Dr. Matt! It looks so great.

Stay tuned at the end of the month to see my teeth :)

Denver Time!

We traveled long and far to Denver after Christmas. You can tell Melody's travels were hard :)

We weren't planning on being their for New Years, but the day we were wanting to leave a big storm was rolling through. So we extended a few more days so Brian could not miss the bowl games, and we could spend time with Matt and Daniel since they had New Years Eve off.

We made "New Years" hats with Cami's new Cricket

We said Happy New Year around 8 ish. We knew it was midnight some where in the world! :)

We went to a puppet show down the street from Matt and Cam's house.

These were our tickets.

Matt made an angry ticket.

Decorating our tickets

Cam and Lily on the colorful thrown.

While we were there Elise got sick. She had a cough, horrible runny nose and a fever. She crashed on the couch around 6. This is really not like her.

We always have to go to Pasquini's whenever we go to Denver. A really good pizza place.

Christmas Day

What to say about Christmas day..... So much fun! Nuff said!

Melody got her own Mickey ears, so now her and Elise won't fight over one.:)

A Rapunzel house

A cansolidator! We already have one, now we have an extention!

A BYU football signed by a bunch of BYU players, plus Bronco! Brian must have been good this year :)
Wand Power!
This was a big suprise, a Kitchenaide! I am one lucky girl :)
This is from Matt and Cami, a house you can color! They LOVE it, and have made beds inside and everything!
This is my parents Kookoo clock. For a few years they've been collecting antique clocks. They've had this one for about 15 years. But this Christmas we all got one of the clocks. I've loved this clock, I have many memories watching the bird pop out and hearing the kookoo in the middle of the night. When my Dad said my family got the kooko clock I asked "What does that say about my family?" :) Since we got it, it's had some issues I'm hoping we'll get them figured out soon.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is always spent with the Wells side. This year we had a really fun day planned but pretty much everything we were planning on doing failed. We were going to go to Provo to Pirate Island for pizza and fun. We get there and it's closed, so we decided on Pizza factory, it's closed. So we settled on Cafe' Rio, we drove all the way to Utah County for Cafe' Rio. We probably passed about 10 on the way down! Then we were planning on doing the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving point. At this point we thought we should call ahead. It closes in 5 minutes! We were about 15 minutes away. Then we thought let's go to Cabellas, it's right across the street.....it just closed! SHOCKER! So we went and played at the McDonald's Play Area! I know, that's all that was opened Christmas Eve.

Then we went and saw the lights at Thanksgiving Point, the first thing that's worked out that night! Then went to Cheesecake Factory, it had an hour and a half wait! So we got our cheesecakes to go.

And came back to Potters and Grandma's for stories and presents.
In their Rapunzel dresses.

From Gavin
More Princess stuff!
A little birdie had to tell grandma that they wanted these.:)
Gavin's snake, such a boy!
Her first laptop!
Even though it didn't quite go as planned, we still had some laughs and a great time with the Wells clan.
