Oh to be a kid again....

Olives, sleeping and smiling. What more do you really need?

Such a big girl

So Elise's latest obsession is doing the dishes, now you'd think I wouldn't discourage something that could really be beneficiary to me. Especially since I am the dish washer, yes we are lacking an actual machine who preforms such a wonderful task. But when the clean and dirty dishes are mixed together it's just down right annoying! But here is a really cute video of Elise just going to town on those dishes! Yes I know it's not going the right way, but Brian did the video so take it up with him. :) Oh and we just had to show off our matching aprons! I know were super cool!

My Girls

Ok so I know this is my third post this week but I figured I wouldn't hear too much complaining.
So Elise has been hoarding all her stuff lately. As you can see in the picture she has drug out 3 blankets, 2 pillows, a box of crackers, Melody's bath tub (AKA "the boat"), the baby Einstein chair, her bear and Winnie the pooh. She does this several times a day, I will clean the stuff up and about 20 minutes later its all out again. Oh and you might be able to see that Toy Story is on in the back ground. All day long she will switch back and forth from Toy Story to Toy Story 2, not a ton of variety. Oh well it does keep her busy at least.

The picture of Melody isn't the best. So she all ready has started sign language! She's doing the sign for the letter T! Ok so it's a pure fluke, but I'm still proud of her. Between me, Elise and the Signing Time DVD's I'm sure she will be signing in no time. :)

Oh also....

I remember a lot of you guys were asking about Melody's cyst. Yes she was born with it, when the doctor "caught" her and cleaned her mouth out he said "hmmm what is that?" Not the best thing to say to someone who just gave birth! So I'm thinking she has 3 eyes or something, but no just a cyst luckily. So her pediatrician referred us to a plastic surgeon and we have scheduled a surgery in November. We don't know if it will affect her teeth or not we will have to wait and see when her teeth start to come in. The surgery should be fast and easy. We did just find out though that my aunt was diagnosed with a bleeding disorder that is hereditary and really manifest in the gums. Right where the cyst is, so if she has it and we didn't know she could really bleed a ton in the her mouth. But if she does have it then they will just give her some extra stuff during the surgery to help the bleeding.

Blessing Day

We blessed Melody yesterday. It was a beautiful day Brian really tried hard to feel the spirit and gave her a wonderful blessing. The open house was at my parents house and the weather couldn't have been more perfect. It was great to see some of our family and friends. We did really miss those of you that live far away you were of course their in spirit. I'm so happy to have such a wonderful husband who holds the priesthood proudly. I'm also so happy to have two beautiful girls who are growing healthy and strong.
