30 Week Ultrasound

Just had my 30 week ultrasound. Everything looks great, Baby Ray was very active (Which I know where he gets that from, cough cough Brain!). Plus I'm measuring right on. The placenta has started to move! Now instead of it right on top of the cervix it's right next to! Wahoo! So if all goes well as I grow bigger it should move out of the way in time. But I know there is still a chance it might not. So I'm keeping the positive vibs coming! Even my pessimistic doctor said it's looking like I won't need a c-section! That's a big deal! So at 36 weeks we'll do another ultrasound and see where it's at. Very very happy and excited about this news.

Sick Girl

This was too funny I just had to document it.

Poor Melody is going on day 4 with a temperature. She's been miserable all weekend, but very snugly at least. But last night around 3:00 AM I heard her door open, so I just layed quietly to see if she was going potty or if she would come in our room. She came into our room but walked right past my side of the bed to Brian's bed. She told Daddy she wanted to get in our bed. We decided long ago that our children wouldn't sleep in our bed. Brian very nicely got out of bed and walked her back to her room and rubbed her back. This was very strange, she has never done that before. Then around 6:45 I heard her door open, so I waited to see who came out but no one ever came to my room. So like a good mom I fell back asleep for another 15 minutes. :) But I did eventually get up. I walked to the girls room and saw Elise still sleeping in her room, but no Melody I saw the lights on downstairs and was confused. Brian had already woke around 4:30 and left for boot camp and work, so I know he wasn't downstairs. So I walked downstairs and see Melody curled up on the couch with a pillow and no blanket. Poor girl, I really don't know what she was thinking/ doing. She always comes to get me when she wakes up. She must REALLY not feel well, she kept doing things not like her.

I've debated all day if I should take her to the doctor. Does any other mom's have that problem when their kids get sick? I have a hard time "drawing the line in the sand" and saying "Yes, we need to take her in." I decided to give it one more day to see if she feels better, then I'll take her in if she is still acting miserable. Plus we've been to the doctor A LOT this year between ear infections, pink eye, swallowing a quarter, and strep throat. Did I mention it's only March!? But I'm grateful we have insurance and a great pediatrician that never mocks or questions when I bring my kids in.

Needless to say I've pretty tired of sick kids. :(

Through the Eye's of a 4 year old.

Elise got a camera for Christmas from Potter and Grandma. It's a really cool kids camera that has mega padding on it so when they drop it, it won't break. She has really loved having it. I've enjoyed looking at the pictures she takes, most of which are very random. But it's helps me see what she sees on her level.

Daddy's church ball game.

This is really fun, you can add these funny pictures to your pictures, I guess sister needed a binky.

The latest obsession, Blues Clues. She'd watch it all day if I let her.

Matt and Cami's fish tank

Caught in the act!

Cute cousin Lily

On the way to Denver, pretty much all you see in Wonderful Wyoming.

Buckle up Woody!

I guess Daddy needed a binky too.

She had other random pictures too, but I thought I'd spare you and just show the cute ones.

Recently I've noticed...

So with my growing tummy I've noticed a few different things this time being pregnant.
1. I wasn't as sick as I was with my girls. I would get sick around 5:00 P.M. and then I would go to bed. Plus I never threw up! :)
2. My hair isn't growing as fast as it did with the girls, which I am slightly bummed about since I'm in the mood for long hair again. :(
3. He is sooooooo low in my stomach! It's painful how low he is! I can feel my lower abdomen muscles stretching in pain.
4. My joints and back HATE ME! I try sleeping with a pillow between my legs but that hardly does anything. I am very grateful for my jetted tub and my chiropractor, it's been a HUGE lifesaver. I'm already waddling, yay for 3 more months of this!
5. I don't sleep as well as I did with my last 2 pregnancy's. When I was pregnant with the girls all I needed to do was have my head hit the pillow and I was gone until morning. But every time I rollover in my bed I wake up, every time the furnace goes off I wake up. Every time Brian moves I wake up. I'm not used to not sleeping well when I'm pregnant, so this has been an adjustment.
6. I've had heartburn, which I did with the others but no chest pain like I had with Melody. But I know I still have a chance of having it since I have 3 more months left. But I do have moments where my chest gets really heavy, Brian thinks they are anxiety. I don't know why I'd be having anxiety, my body is only going through H E double hockey sticks?!
7. Tons of bracston hicks contractions.
8. Full placenta Previa, not just partial like last time. So far though it hasn't given me any problems or restrictions. But I can just feel them coming, this was around the time he restricted my travel to no more than 50 miles from the hospital. My doctor is not hopeful it will migrate out of the way of the cervix. So right now were planning on a c-section memorial weekend (ish). Which scares the Beegeebas out of me! I though am still thinking happy positive thoughts, that maybe the placenta will be good to me and MOVE!
9. I take my glucose test on Monday, but my doctor gave me an alternative to the orange junk. He said I could eat a King size Snickers bar instead! They have the same amount of sugar. The thought of eating a Snickers at 8:00 A.M. is not too exciting to me though, but it's doctors orders, right? :)
10. The best thing though is that were having a BOY! Were of course happy to just have a baby on the way. I'm scared and excited at the same time to get a son. Brian tries to play it cool, but I know he's really excited to get some testosterone in the house. It's been a change to look at the "blue side" at stores and I have to really focus hard to look at boy fabric. It's hard when you've been in "Girl Mode" for the last 5 years to have to suddenly switch your brain.

So there you go, in case you were wondering all the things that were bouncing around in my head. Maybe, and I said MAYBE I might post a prego picture. But most of you know how much I hate prego pictures of myself. Most people in my ward tell me I hardly look pregnant, but I think it's because when you compare me to my friend who is having twins I of course look small!

It's so Fluffy I'm gonna DIE!

So I had this great idea to make these skirts. So cute, right? We'll after making 1 of these I seriously started thinking about taking up swearing. It took me about 10 hours to make one of these! It was so tedious, but after seeing my girls in them it makes it a little bit worth it. Huge kudos to my mom who really did the tedious parts of gathering and un-gathering all these layers. I'm so lucky to have such a great and talented mom.
